What does a Chapter leader do?
As a Chapter leader, you're at the heart of driving MEDLIFE’s mission on campus. You’ll guide your chapter’s activities, from planning Service Learning Trips (SLTs) to fundraising efforts and recruitment. Your role includes organizing events, supporting team members, and ensuring alignment with MEDLIFE’s values of equity, education, and development. It's a chance to lead, empower others, and make a real-world impact.
Being a Chapter leader means embracing a leadership role that is both dynamic and impactful. Whether you're part of a high school or university chapter, your contributions directly support MEDLIFE’s global efforts to provide access to healthcare, education, and safe homes in underserved communities. Your leadership will not only shape the chapter but also influence the larger MEDLIFE movement.
This role offers both challenges and rewards, pushing you to develop skills in teamwork, communication, and organization. By fostering a collaborative, proactive environment, you’ll empower your chapter to create meaningful change, locally and internationally.

 - Recruitment & Growth: Drive recruitment strategies to expand your chapter's membership, helping to increase awareness and engagement in MEDLIFE’s work.

- Managing the Executive Board
Coordinate with other members of the Executive Board (E-Board) to ensure all roles are fulfilled, from event planning to social media outreach. You'll help delegate tasks and provide mentorship to ensure the chapter runs smoothly. - Building a Strong Team Culture
Create a supportive, collaborative chapter culture through regular meetings, team-building activities, and member engagement. Your leadership will foster a sense of community and commitment among members. - Serving as a Liaison
You’ll act as the main point of contact between your chapter and MEDLIFE’s headquarters. This means collaborating closely with MEDLIFE’s Chapter Coaches, staying informed on updates, and ensuring your chapter’s activities align with the broader goals of the organization.
